In the fishing town of Valdez, AK, there was a contest ("Fish Derby") to see who could pull in the biggest fish.  You're looking at the winner as of July 7, 2005 - a 325.4 pound halibut!  The fish was so large that people had to lift part of it off the ground in order to have it weigh in properly.  More info about the fish derby can be found here.

(I personally think the company that made the fishing line should win a prize as well!)
